Boom Reel Systems

Slickbar Reel Systems are designed to store, retrieve and deploy from 500 to 2,000 feet (150m - 610m) of various styles of oil spill containment booms, hose and/or a towable floating oil storage bag. Each system is equipped with a solid aluminum spool and flange, control manifold, free wheel valve, manual emergency brake, spool lock and fabric cover. The reels are typically powered with either a diesel or electric / hydraulic power pack. Additional options include a rapid response trailer, hydraulic outrigger arms, level winder, radio controls, oil drip pan, spare tire etc.
