This specification is for the JBF DIP400 Industrial Oil Recovery System, which utilizes JBF's patented Dynamic Inclined Plane (DIP ®) skimming module. Reference US Patent No. 5,384,043, January 24, 1995.

The JBF DIP400 Industrial Oil Recovery Systems employ a Dynamic Inclined Plane oil recovery module that can be deployed in waste ponds, lagoons, oil recovery ponds, etc. The JBF DIP400 Industrial System is equipped with a Class 1 electric-hydraulic power supply, to drive the DIP400 Industrial skimmer and the oil transfer pump. The DIP400 Industrial skimmer is designed for use as a stationary skimmer in the flow currents of a waste pond. The skimmer can be used by direct attachment of oil containment boom to the mouth of the skimmer for deflection of oil to the skimmer.

The standard DIP400 Industrial Skimming System includes the skimmer, a positive displacement oil transfer pump, Class 1 electric-hydraulic power supply, Deflection Sweep system, spare parts, all necessary hoses & lines and a fully automatic control circuit with oil/water level sensor.

All proposed JBF DIP400 Industrial Oil Recovery Systems are new, standard JBF production units. All units are built with the highest quality material and workmanship. The Oil Recovery System presented in this specification will meet or exceed all requirements of the customer's bid request. The JBF DIP400 Industrial has received an alternative OPA90 rating of 94% in calm conditions as per the US Coast Guard regulations.
