CCI Division Profile
Corrosion Control International (CCI) , started in January 1995, recognized worldwide as a leader in the manufacture of splash zone and subsea corrosion protection, fouling release systems. CCI offers a complete product line for offshore oil and gas industries. CCI's history is linked jointly to Slickbar Products Corporation and NICC, Inc. NICC, Inc. was established in 1990 to produce and develop corrosion protection systems following the award by the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey for the corrosion protection of all subsea pilings supporting the runway extensions at New York 's LaGuardia Airport .
In 1995, the company changed its name to Corrosion Control International and later that year was specified to supply subsea corrosion protection and fouling release for the Hibernia Project, a contract which will be extended on an annual basis as drilling and well development continues.
Corrosion Control International is recognized worldwide as a leader in the manufacture of high quality splash zone and subsea corrosion protection systems, including a complete range of items for the offshore oil and gas industries.

CCI provides Retrowrap® systems, originally designed for retrofit protection of pipes, risers and concrete pilings in the subsea and splash zone. CCI's patented one piece, multi-layer design provides active splash zone corrosion protection. CCI developed its patented, cold applied Retrowrap ® systems for retrofit protection of pilings, risers, and pipelines as an alternative to factory coatings for new underwater construction in remote areas for quick and easy installation. A significant advantage of Retrowrap's multi-layer construction is its ability to furnish active corrosion protection throughout its design life.
